In Wednesday, December 10’s home matchup against Nobles, the Tabor’s girls’ squash team faced a challenging day on court, with every player on the ladder falling in her match. Though the final went to Noble, the Seawolves still showed determination and important early-season growth.
From the start, Nobles applied steady pressure with tight, consistent shots. Tabor players responded by chasing balls into the back corners, extending rallies, and fighting for every point. Even as games slipped away, no one stopped competing.
On the bench, the team stayed engaged—offering tips between games, cheering winners, and helping each other reset after tough points. That constant support had the same energy.
While Tabor left without a match win, the team gained a clearer sense of what to improve: quicker movement to the front of the court, sharper shot selection under pressure, and confidence to attack rather than only defend.
The Seawolves will carry those lessons into upcoming practices and matches, aiming to turn today’s challenges into stronger performances as the winter season continues.
