If you’re looking for a New England experience, I have just the thing for you. The first stop, a necessity if you are nearing Tabor Academy, is Turks Seafood. After supporting Tabor students at a game or performance, make your way down Route 6, where you will find a packed parking lot that speaks to their delicious selection of food. Don’t hesitate to call before to place your order or experience the terrific in–person service. I highly suggest leaning into the coastal area by ordering from their large seafood menu. My personal menu favorites are the California Maki, Shrimp Tempura Maki, Cucumber Salad with Spicy Crab, Edamame, and Clam Chowder, but I could go on forever. After dining in or choosing takeout, make your way to one of the various beaches around the area to catch the breathtaking sunsets on the water. To end the night on an even sweeter note, head back to Tabor and walk just down the road to Gone Country Creamery. You will be greeted by friendly faces and a long list of flavors and toppings to choose from. My go-to order for the past year has been Coffee Oreo ice cream with hot fudge and Oreos on top. Free to try out my ideal New England night.
