Girls Varsity Tennis
Our Varsity Girls Tennis team played a good match against the Governor’s Academy. There was excellent teamwork amongst the players along with a solid comeback from Tutu Hu ’26. In the end, our Seawolves won 8-1 and 7-2, and they’ll come back with just as much energy at the match against Portsmouth Abbey on Wednesday.
Girls Varsity Lacrosse
Although Tabor’s Girls Varsity Lacrosse team suffered an upset this weekend, the girls were strong, motivated players working hard for their team. Six minutes into the first quarter, Governor’s Academy was up by 2 until Dawson Styles ’28 whipped the ball into the net, making the score 2-1. By the second quarter, Ellie Amato ’27 stepped up and scored two incredible goals in a row. With two minutes left in the second quarter, Mavis O’Neil ’27 shot a beautiful goal that put the score at 8-4 with Governor’s Academy leading by four. Finally, Lainey Styles ’29 scored the final goal for Tabor in the third quarter. The game ended with a score of 8-5, with Governor’s taking the win. Overall, the girls played a very strong game; it seems like they are looking forward to showing the Tabor community what they have in store for this season.
