On Saturday afternoon, Tabor’s Boys’ varsity basketball team played an amazing game against St. Sebastian’s School. The game took place in Stone Gym, with an energetic crowd starting from the tip off. Both teams demonstrated determination and hard work throughout the entire game, making it a competitive. In the first half, both teams began by trading buckets, making the anticipation intense. Sage Baptiste’ 26 dominated, contributing a total of 14 points in just the first half of the game. Tabor ended the first half with a total of 44 points, while St. Sebastion’s ended with a total of 17 points.
The crowd was packed and hyped; Seawolves were most definitely showing up and cheering on their peers. During halftime there was a cute moment where children came out onto the court and practiced shooting while the teams were taking a short pause.
In the beginning of the second half, the crowd’s energy felt like it had doubled in excitement and anticipation. Aiden Smith’26 put up a total of 11 points, helping his team take the game from St. Sebastian’s. The team worked well together and had great chemistry out on the court. Tabor won 86-43 overpowering St. Sebastian’s. The crowd went wild and the gymnasium erupted with cheers. Overall, the game was one for the books; not only was it a good game, but it demonstrated the teams’ hard work and dedication towards winning.
