The Tabor’s Dance team had an energetic and amazing dance performance on November 14th, filling the stage with enthusiasm from start to finish. The showcase had a variety of mixed dance performances from Hip Hop to K- Pop, demonstrating the team’s creativity and versatility. Over the course of the showcase, students performed a number of sixteen dances that they had been choreographing since September; all demonstrating the amount of hard work and teamwork this group had put into their dance pieces. Isa Sacerdote’ 26, had an extraordinary contemporary solo piece that blew everyone’s mind away. The senior spent months putting together a piece that was going to beat her solo last year, and did not disappoint. Mareya Barboza’ 26, also had an honorable mention solo in the 2025 Tabor dance showcase. Mareya self-choreographed her entire Hip-Hop solo dance, along with the group’s Hip-Hop dance all over the span of two months. All the students did an amazing job performing and being energetic. The crowd did not disappoint, but instead, reflected all the hard work the women put into this showcase. The crowd had a very hyperactive engagement during the performances. Screams roared in the auditorium as students cheered for their friends and peers along with the families in the crowd. Amahn Williams’26 states, “The 2025 dance showcase was one of the best dance showcases I have witnessed during my four years at Tabor. The crowd was hyped and energetic and it was just fun to be at”. Like Amahn, many students enjoyed showcasing their support and hyping up the dancers, as they only perform once in the fall, and once again in the spring. Overall, the 2025 dance showcase was not a showcase to be missed at all. The energy and delivery from the dancers were there, and the engagement and support from the crowd was one to remember.
