Varsity Field Hockey
The girls varsity field hockey team faced off against Thayer Academy on Saturday, walking away with an exciting win. Compared to their game last week, it is evident that they made changes and applied them. Their coordination and teamwork were in sync with effective communication and expert passes through the defenders. Thayer started off strong, but once the Seawolves got into a rhythm, it was over. As Tabor has secured a 6-2 win, they will continue to play against Lawrence Academy with the same mindset.
Girls Varsity Soccer
Tabor Academy barely lost 4–3 to Thayer Academy in a hard-fought match, with Teagan Forde ’27 scoring all three Tabor goals in a standout performance; despite the loss the Seawolves showed strong defensive organization and excellent teamwork throughout. The players never gave up, created opportunities, defended strongly, and will use that grit to improve for their next match against Middlesex.
Varsity Volleyball
The girls varsity volleyball team played against Thayer Academy this past Saturday. The girls displayed strong teamwork and excellent communication throughout the match, remaining upbeat and positive no matter what. Their attempts to break through Thayer’s defense worked, and the game ended in a clean sweep, 3-0. Tabor will continue to bring this energy into their next match on Wednesday against Lawrence Academy.
Boys Varsity Soccer
Boys varsity soccer had an enthralling battle on Saturday night against a strong Thayer Academy team. Unfortunately, Thayer got the scoring started, but that did not deter the Seawolves. The Seawolves’ offense leveled things at 1 goal a piece with some help from an emphatic, all red, student section. The 1-1 tie held on with an impressive effort from Liam Karol ‘26 and the rest of the Tabor defense to limit the aggressive Thayer offense to a single goal. Coming off a few losses, this tie was a good way to break the slide and hopefully turn things around for the Seawolves going forward.
Fall Drama
The fall drama crew is working tirelessly to get as much done as possible before their grand showing of Clue, this year’s drama production. So far, the crew has set up the actors’ positions in the scenes and how which characteristics will define their specific characters. What’s left for the actors is to memorize their lines by next Monday and continue to run through the entire play until they smooth out all the bumps. As for the costumes, props, and set crew, they have gathered most of the needed resources to run through a rough rehearsal. What’s left for the crew is to build some sets and order the last bit of props for finishing touches. After seeing their preparation, we expect for Clue to go down in Tabor history.
