On Friday, September 19, while the rest of the school was still in bed, the senior class assembled on the waterfront, in their pajamas, to observe the Senior Sunrise tradition. At 6:00 am, they gathered to enjoy each other’s company in the dim morning light with coffee and doughnuts in hand. At 6:21 am, the sun peaked over the trees and sent a shimmering cascade of light across Sippican Harbor. With the sun engulfing the docked boats, the view seemed as if it was straight out of a painting. Many seniors remarked that it was their first time seeing the sunrise over the harbor, offering a memorable perspective on a beloved view as their time at Tabor draws to a close.
