Varsity Field Hockey
The varsity field hockey team faced off on Saturday against the Rivers School from Weston, Massachusetts. The Rivers team started off strong which caught the Seawolves by surprise. They were aggressive and explosive, and the Seawolves took time to adapt to. At halftime, the score was a daunting 5-0. However, instead of giving up, the Seawolves locked in. They managed to stop the barrage of offensive pushes and managed to turn it around. Katie Jackavics ‘26 and Adeline Wiesel ‘27 pushed past their defense, and each scored a goal, but it was not enough to catch up from Rivers’ lead in the beginning with the final score being 6-2. The game highlighted what the team needs to work on, and they are determined to show it at their next game on Wednesday against The Middlesex School.
