Varsity Field Hockey
In a hard-fought battle against Buckingham Browne & Nichols School, Tabor Academy’s field hockey team fell just short, with a final score of 2-3. Tabor showed resilience and determination, keeping the game tight until the very end. Despite the loss, the Seawolves displayed impressive teamwork and grit, with standout performances on both offense and defense. They’ll use this experience as fuel for their next challenge, ready to come back stronger and more focused.
Girls Varsity Soccer
This Wednesday, the Tabor Girls Soccer team faced the Buckingham Browne & Nichols School Knights on Lower Chapel Field. The game showcased strong teamwork and numerous goal attempts, with standout efforts from Teagan Forde ’27 and Addison Cheney ’28. However, both goalies displayed exceptional skill, making critical saves throughout the game. Despite Tabor’s relentless offense, including several close attempts in the final minutes, the game ended in a 0-0 tie. It was a hard-fought match, and the score reflected a well-played effort from both teams.
Varsity Volleyball
Yesterday, the Girls Varsity Volleyball team went against the Buckingham Browne & Nichols School (BB&N) Knights. The Seawolves never gave up, quickly regaining every lost point and to tie. There was good energy and hustle all around, with excellent blocking techniques from Salma Hassan ’28 and solid saves from Abbie Lang ’25 and Andie Derrig ’26 against BB&N’s frequent feint. Unfortunately, Tabor lost 3-1, but the team will come back even stronger at the upcoming match against St. George’s this Saturday.
