Girls Varsity Field Hockey
The Tabor Girls Varsity Field Hockey Team fought hard for all four periods but could not execute. The Nobles team, traveling from Dedham, Massachusetts, is reputable for being a tough team. Tabor held the team at 0-1 for a long time and had a few shots on the goal but couldn’t finish. The Seawolves put a lot of effort on the field after halftime to overcome Nobles but were unsuccessful. Nobles is a skillful team that set an expectation that the Seawolves will work all season to overcome.
Girl Varsity Volleyball
Last Tuesday, our Varsity Volleyball team went against the Noble and Greenough Bulldogs. It was a slow start at first, but the Seawolves never gave up, lunging towards every spike and attempting to put it back in the air no matter how impossible it may look. There was good teamwork all around, with a good double block from Kaitlyn Jones ’26 and Angelica Smith ‘27, powerful spikes from Sydney Hanlon ’25, and solid returns from Angie Fernando ’26. In the end, Tabor won with a score of 3-2 and they will keep this positive energy going in the next game against Thayer on Saturday!
